We know how difficult it is to be apart from your bundle of joy, even if it's only for a few hours. At Mount Pleasant we will care for your baby like they are our very own.
If you are a first-time guest, have no fear, we will walk you through it. Come to the Preschool check-in area and let us know you are new here.
Contact: Karen Stoupa - (804) 526-0816 or karen.stoupa@mpbclife.com.
Upon check-in we will provide you with a pager so we can reach you in the event that Mom or Dad are the only solace left at our disposal.
At check-in we will provide you with two stickers…one for you, and one for your child. You must present your portion of the sticker before we release your child.
We require all our volunteers to be trained and screened and maintain strict teacher-to-child ratios to ensure safe care. Volunteers are not only screened, but they also take sexual abuse training. For health standards, children must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours without medication. Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have.
When dedicating your child, you celebrate a commitment to raise your child in the ways of the Lord. You also commit to joining a community of believers who help you and hold you accountable. We try to hold two child dedication services each year. For more information about dedicating your child please contact Karen Stoupa at karen.stoupa@mpbclife.com.
With the help of our loving children’s ministry staff, your Preschoolers are nurtured as they develop in their spiritual growth in a warm and safe learning environment. Children will be engaged in God’s Word in fun and interactive ways that speak to the heart of a child. Jesus is the center of all we do, and we want every boy and girl to know of His love for them.
