All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV

Every follower of Jesus is a disciple, and called to walk the Disciple’s Path. Here at Mount Pleasant, everything we do is designed to meet people wherever they are, and point them to Jesus. Our ministries fall into these four broad categories of what it means to follow the Disciple’s Path:
Spring classes will begin as part of Midweek at the Mount on January 7.

The Bible has a lot to say concerning parenting. This course moves beyond the well-known verses of Scripture concerning parenting and offers an in-depth, theological approach to the subject. Through this course we will let the Bible lead in offering encouragement by looking at the exhortations and challenges found in its pages. Whether you are a parent or have not yet arrived at that point in life, you can benefit from this course as we study the Scripture on the subject.
Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby is a discipleship study that helps believers recognize how God is at work around them and invites them to join Him. The study focuses on developing a deeper relationship with God, learning to hear His voice, and responding in obedience. Through Scripture, reflection, and practical steps, it teaches that the Christian life is not about our plans for God, but joining God in His work and experiencing Him in a real and personal way.
This evangelism class is designed to help believers share their faith with confidence, clarity, and compassion. We’ll explore what the Bible teaches about the mission of reaching others, learn practical tools for having gospel conversations, and discuss how to overcome common fears and obstacles. The goal is to equip and encourage you to communicate the hope of Jesus in everyday life, whether with friends, family, coworkers, or strangers.
Systematic Theology I is an introductory class that explores the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith. In this course, we’ll study the attributes of God, His work in creation, His ongoing providence in the world, and the biblical doctrine of sin. The goal is to build a clearer, more structured understanding of what Scripture teaches about who God is, how He works, and why the world is the way it is—so that our worship, faith, and daily lives are shaped by solid biblical truth.
