Prayer

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." (James 5:16)

Jesus said His house would be called “a house of prayer” (Matt. 21:13).  In order to “bear fruit” of, and for, the Gospel we are asking people to prayerfully consider participating in the MPBC Prayer Ministry in the following ways:

Personal Prayer

There is no substitute for prayer, so ask God to help you grow in this spiritual discipline. If you are looking for resources, please do not hesitate to contact the pastoral staff.

We’re encouraging MPBC Members to spend time praying in our Prayer Room throughout the week during office hours (9 am – 4:30 pm).  Sign-up for a 30 minute time slot (max 1 hour for greater usage) individually, with a Prayer Partner, as a couple, or even as a family. Email the prayer ministry at prayerministry@mpbclife.com to sign up for a time slot in the Prayer Room.

Prayer Requests

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.  (James 5:14-15)
