Based on James 1:27, this ministry provides love and support to children in foster care and their foster families.
"Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” James 1:27
We meet every 4th Tuesday night of the month from 6:30-7:30pm. We provide coffee and light snacks. We also have trauma-informed volunteers to watch your children.
We can provide meals, emergency contacts, respite care, clothing, rides to medical appointments/therapy sessions, and more. If you are a foster, kinship, or adoptive parent and would benefit from having a care community, please email Pastor Garrett at Garrett.oppel@mpbclife.com.
If you want to get involved by serving foster families, you can also contact Pastor Garrett to be placed on a care team.
