Please pray for the launch of Commission 127, a new ministry dedicated to supporting foster families in our church and community!
On October 19, we'll host an Interest Meeting following the service to share more about this ministry and our vision for it.
If you're interested in learning how you can be a part of Commission 127, please join us on the 19th. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and the families who care for them.

During the service on October 26, we’ll present our youngest readers with Bibles of their own, signed by each of the pastors!

Every year, we send a team down to Charlotte, North Carolina, to process shoeboxes at the Operation Christmas Child Distribution Center.
It’s a fantastic service opportunity for the whole family and has become a beloved MPBC tradition!
2025 trip dates: December 3-5.
To learn more, come to the brief Interest Meeting this Sunday after the service (before you go to the Youth Spaghetti Lunch!).
Last year, Mount Pleasant collected 167 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child - down from nearly 300 before COVID. This year, we’re setting a new goal: 300+ shoeboxes!
We’re asking every family, couple, and individual to be part of this effort to share the gospel with children around the world: consider packing an extra box or two this year! If you’d prefer to give financially, the church can pack a shoebox on your behalf for just $20.
Together, let’s do our part to take the good news of Jesus to the nations - one shoebox at a time.
