Mac Powell & Band will be performing right here at Mount Pleasant on December 5 at 7 PM. All proceeds benefit the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Virginia as they work to bring the Gospel to children and families across the state.

This Christmas, the choir will present Behold the Lamb of God, a Christmas musical by Andrew Peterson (you may have enjoyed his Good Friday concert earlier this year!).
We would like to see our choir loft filled with new voices, excited to sing about the Good News of Jesus.
If you've ever wanted to join the choir, it’s not too late! Join us at 4 PM on Sundays for rehearsals.

Every year, we send a team down to Charlotte, North Carolina, to process shoeboxes at the Operation Christmas Child Distribution Center.
It’s a fantastic service opportunity for the whole family and has become a beloved MPBC tradition!
2025 trip dates: December 3-5.
Last year, Mount Pleasant collected 167 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child - down from nearly 300 before COVID. This year, we’re setting a new goal: 300+ shoeboxes!
We’re asking every family, couple, and individual to be part of this effort to share the gospel with children around the world: consider packing an extra box or two this year! If you’d prefer to give financially, the church can pack a shoebox on your behalf for just $20.
Together, let’s do our part to take the good news of Jesus to the nations - one shoebox at a time.
